Sustainable Transportation Lesson 1: Transportation EV-olution

This lesson introduces students to electric vehicles (EVs) as a sustainable transportation option. Students explore the history of EVs, including why internal combustion engine vehicles pushed early EVs out of the market and why they are increasingly popular today. Students learn about the different types of EVs, the advantages and disadvantages of EVs, and how EVs compare to traditional, gas-powered vehicles.
